JB Hi-Fi Extra Care is an add-on you can pay for at the time of purchase that provides you with certainty that your product will be repaired or replaced if it becomes faulty during the period of your cover.
In addition to your JB Hi-Fi Voluntary Warranty, we want to ensure that you can enjoy many years of trouble free ownership of your purchase for a longer period than your Australian Consumer Law rights are likely to provide.
Types of Extra Care
Replacement Cover
- Product purchase price $1,000 or less
- Period of Cover: Period commencing 12 months after purchase/delivery, and ending 3 years after purchase/delivery*
- Does not cover failures due to accidental damage, user misuse or commercial usage (see full JB Hi-Fi Extra Care Terms and Conditions for other exclusions and limitations)
Repair Cover
- Product purchase price greater than $1,000
- Period of Cover: Period commencing on the later of the expiry of the manufacturer's warranty and the JB Hi-Fi Minimum Voluntary warranty period, and ending 5 years after purchase/delivery*
- Does not cover failures due to accidental damage, user misuse or commercial usage (see full JB Hi-Fi Extra Care Terms and Conditions for other exclusions and limitations)

Just ask our team in-store about what type of Extra Care cover is available for your purchase.
Online
When viewing a product on our website and if it's eligible for Extra Care you'll see the 'Add extended warranty' button. You'll see a summary of warranty periods and features of the extended warranty, then just tap Select and confirm to add it to your cart and checkout.
