1. Introduction
These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract between JB Hi-Fi Group Pty Ltd (ABN 37 093 114 286) (“JB Hi-Fi”/“we”) and “you” in relation to JB Hi-Fi’s membership reward program “JB Hi-Fi Perks”.
By signing up to be a member of JB Hi-Fi Perks you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Acknowledgement
By signing up to be a member of JB Hi-Fi Perks you agree that:
a) you have, or will create a JB Hi-Fi account;
b) you are subscribing to communications from JB Hi-Fi in relation to JB Hi-Fi Perks through methods such as email, SMS and social media platforms;
c) you are subscribing to marketing communications from JB Hi-Fi to promote and market products, services or special offers to you in relation to JB Hi-Fi through methods such as email, SMS and social media platforms;
d) JB Hi-Fi may contact you for reviews and your feedback in relation to JB Hi-Fi Perks.
3. Benefits
JB Hi-Fi Perks is a membership reward program which offers exclusive member benefits such as:
a) a $10 JB Hi-Fi coupon when you join JB Hi-Fi Perks, which is valid for 28 days from the date the coupon is issued;
b) member discounts and coupons, which will be available for a limited time;
c) early access to certain JB Hi-Fi sales; and
d) an annual birthday perk provided in the month of your birthday.
Any coupon provided to you is available for a limited time which will be set out in the relevant offer and is provided for the purposes of JB Hi-Fi Perks, which is a customer loyalty program.
Note that if you join JB Hi-Fi Perks in the month of your birthday, you will not be eligible to receive a birthday perk until the following calendar year.
4. Termination of/Leaving JB Hi-Fi Perks
JB Hi-Fi will automatically terminate your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership if you:
a) delete your email address and/or phone number from your JB Hi-Fi account;
b) delete your JB Hi-Fi account;
c) unsubscribe from JB Hi-Fi Perks communications; or
d) are in material breach of these terms and conditions.
You can end your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership at any time by:
- clicking on the unsubscribe link in a Perks communication from us or texting the stated response word (e.g. “STOP") in reply to a JB Hi-Fi Perks SMS from us;
- submitting a request to privacy@jbhifi.com.au; or
- logging into your Perks Account and selecting “unsubscribe” in the “Manage account section”.
Ending your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership will unsubscribe you from JB Hi-Fi Perks communications, but will not unsubscribe you from JB Hi-Fi marketing communications. To unsubscribe from JB Hi-Fi marketing communications, you will need to follow the unsubscribe process set out in section 5 below.
JB Hi-Fi may terminate JB Hi-Fi Perks in its absolute discretion at any time.
Unless you are in material breach of these terms and conditions, any coupon that you have received as part of your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership may be redeemed by you up to the date on which the benefit, offer or coupon is expressed to expire, even if we vary or terminate JB Hi-Fi Perks before that date or if you end your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership before that date.
5. JB Hi-Fi Perks communications
In order to be a member of JB Hi-Fi Perks, you must continue to be subscribed to communications in relation to JB Hi-Fi Perks. If you unsubscribe from communications in relation JB Hi-Fi Perks, your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership will automatically end.
You can unsubscribe from communications from JB Hi-Fi Perks at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link in an email from us, by submitting an enquiry to privacy@jbhifi.com.au or by texting the stated response word (e.g. “STOP") in reply to an SMS from us.
Note that ending your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership will not unsubscribe you from JB Hi-Fi marketing communications. To unsubscribe from JB Hi-Fi marketing communications, you will need to follow the unsubscribe process set out in section 6 below.
6. Privacy and Marketing
By signing up to JB Hi-Fi Perks you consent to subscribe to JB Hi-Fi marketing communications and to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information as set out in the JB Hi-Fi Privacy Policy (as updated from time to time).
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications from JB Hi-Fi at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the relevant communication e.g. texting STOP in reply to an SMS from us or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in an email from us. You can also unsubscribe from marketing communications by submitting a privacy enquiry.
Note that unsubscribing from JB Hi-Fi marketing communications will not end your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership. To end your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership, you will need to follow the process set out in section 4 above.
5. Privacy and Marketing

6. Your responsibilities
You acknowledge and agree:
a) that only one JB Hi-Fi Perks account may be created per person. If you create more than one account, we may terminate any additional accounts created by you without notice, and any offers, benefits or coupons issued to such account(s) cannot be redeemed; and
b) to protect and keep confidential your account password and any other information required for a person to access your JB Hi-Fi account and JB Hi-Fi Perks membership.
7. Our Liability to You
Nothing contained in these Terms and Conditions shall be read or applied so as to exclude, restrict or modify or have the effect of excluding, restricting or modifying any condition, warranty, guarantee, right or remedy or other obligation implied by any law (including, without limitation, the Australian Consumer Law) which cannot by law be excluded, restricted or modified. Except to the extent required by law or as set out in these terms and conditions, JB Hi-Fi makes no representations or warranties of any kind as to the operation, availability, or form of JB Hi-Fi Perks offers or discounts.
Except to the extent caused by JB Hi-Fi’s negligence, breach of these terms and conditions, or as otherwise required by law, JB Hi-Fi shall not be liable to you for any loss to you resulting from:
a) your JB Hi-Fi Perks Account information being incomplete or inaccurate;
b) any unauthorised use of your password or JB Hi-Fi Perks Account which takes place before you notify JB Hi-Fi;
c) any breach of these terms and conditions by you,
or for any other loss to you to the extent that it results from something outside of our control and within your control.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions and/or JB Hi-Fi Perks
To the extent permitted by law, JB Hi-Fi may, in its sole discretion:
a) change these terms and conditions and update them at www.jbhifi.com.au.; and/or
b) vary the features, offers and/or benefits of JB Hi-Fi Perks on reasonable prior notice.
If you are not happy with such changes, you can end your membership at any time and any coupon that you have received as part of your JB Hi-Fi Perks membership may be redeemed by you up to the date on which the benefit, offer or coupon is expressed to expire.
