To activate your JB Hi-Fi Mobile Pre-Paid SIM tap the button below to activate your plan and follow the prompts. Your JB Hi-Fi Mobile SIM is brought to you working in partnership with Telstra, so once you hit Activate you will be redirected to the Telstra website.
Before you start, you’ll need two things:
- Your SIM serial number which you’ll find on your SIM packaging
- One valid form of ID: This can be your:
• Australian driver’s licence or learner's permit
• Medicare card
• Australian passport
• International passport with a valid Australian Visa.
Things to know
- You don’t need an internet connection or credit balance to access this page if you have your JB Hi-Fi Pre-Paid SIM card inserted in the device. If you are not using the SIM with your device you will need to be connected to Wi-Fi.
- If you’ve chosen to get a new number, your service will usually be active within 20 minutes, but it can take up to 4 hours. If your service isn’t active after 4 hours, check Telstra's outages and notifications page for current service disruptions.
